Terms of Use

These terms govern access to Boyle County Criminal History. Using the site means accepting each condition below. Stop using the service if any term is unacceptable.

NO FCRA USE. Boyle County Criminal History is privately owned and has no affiliation with a local, Kentucky, or federal government body. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offer a service intended for credit checks, employment screening, insurance underwriting, tenant evaluation, or any other use governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. This is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

Boyle County Criminal History is a privately operated reference site, not a Kentucky government service. It organizes links and general information about courts, law enforcement, corrections, and public record sources. It does not store or issue official records, perform an official background check, file documents, or act for any agency.

The material routes readers to the Boyle County Sheriff, the courts that hear criminal cases, the Kentucky State Police Criminal Identifications and Records Branch, and the Kentucky State Police Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to separately operated search tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Users must act lawfully and avoid conduct that harms people, systems, or access.

  • Do not violate federal, Kentucky, or local law
  • Do not stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass anyone
  • Do not use content for an FCRA-regulated decision
  • Do not gain or attempt unauthorized system access
  • Do not scrape or operate automated tools against the site
  • Do not disrupt service for other visitors

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from this site or a linked service must not be used to threaten, stalk, harass, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate. Kentucky registry information exists for safety awareness. Misuse against a listed person may carry criminal penalties, including harassment penalties described in Kentucky law.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and does not produce consumer reports. Neither its content nor a linked search tool may be used to:

  • Make a hiring or employment decision
  • Screen a renter or housing applicant
  • Judge creditworthiness or set an insurance rate
  • Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or government program
  • Serve any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

When the law permits or requires such a check, use the authorized official channel or an FCRA-compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

General material about Boyle County records is not legal advice and cannot determine how a charge, warrant, conviction, or expungement law affects an individual. Consult a licensed Kentucky attorney for advice.

6. No Warranties

The service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that:

  • Information is accurate, complete, or current
  • The service will remain available without interruption
  • Pages are free of errors, security flaws, or other defects
  • An outside search provider will return complete or correct results

Public records can be amended, sealed, expunged, or delayed. Only the originating Boyle County office or Kentucky agency can issue an official statement.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to government offices, courts, legal resources, and outside search providers. Those destinations control their content, availability, charges, and data practices. Use of an external service is subject to its own terms.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Boyle County Criminal History or its content partners. Copying, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative work without written permission is prohibited.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators are not liable for losses or damages tied to use, inability to use, reliance on content, or use of a linked service.

10. Indemnification

A user agrees to defend and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, demands, losses, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, caused by that user's conduct or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Kentucky law governs these terms. Any dispute related to use of the site must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kentucky.

12. Changes to These Terms

Terms may be revised at any time. A revision becomes effective when posted, and later use shows acceptance of it.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or ended at any time, with or without advance notice, when the operator considers it appropriate.

14. Severability

If one term is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms stay effective. The affected provision will be limited only as needed to make it enforceable.

15. Questions

Official record contacts and routing information are listed on the Contact page.
